About the Artist
Liv Bonnor is an Australian artist whose passion for creating has been a constant throughout her life. From an early age, art became her way of exploring the world, expressing emotion, and bringing ideas to life. Guided by intuition, Liv creates pieces that reflect what she feels in the moment, embracing experimentation and continually exploring new techniques, subjects, and materials. She is driven by the excitement of the creative process, always chasing the spark of inspiration that transforms a simple idea into a finished work.
Working professionally as a tattoo artist, Liv creates art every day on both canvas and skin, allowing her to refine her technical skills while celebrating the individuality of every piece she produces. Her work often combines charcoal, oil, acrylic, and watercolour, blending multiple mediums within a single artwork to create depth, texture, and movement. Living with a learning disability has shaped the way Liv experiences the world, giving her a unique perspective that influences her creative process. She believes it allows her to notice beauty in the small details that others may overlook, bringing a distinctive voice to her work. In 2024, Liv was honoured to be selected as a finalist in the prestigious Doyles Art Award, a milestone that reflects her dedication to her craft and her continuing growth as an artist.
